Leadership Development & Team Work
"Silo thinking is the fruit of the Industrial Age. It is a control mindset where the dots are not connected. It nurtures criticism, cynicism, and blaming. A culture of blame only can be replaced by a culture of interdependent responsibility over time."--Stephen R. CoveyTEAMWORK and LEADERSHIP are all about influencing other people. LTS training programs focus on the interdependence of individuals and the need for group-based work products. 21st century businesses need cooperation and consensus to make things happen--but very, very few organizations know how to achieve these important results. Few of us think about the balance between task and relationships with others before we speak and act. To address these deep-seated emotional ideas about how others respond, our team oriented training processes use constructive interactive exercises. In these exercises, participants get hands-on experience in balancing the "hard" tasks with the "soft" relationships in business processes. Recognizing that tasks must be based on--or rest--on relationships is critical to eliminating silo thinking.
Our training activities provide a chance to practice skills, but often affect participants at a deeper emotional level. By doing this, participants leave with a new and instinctive understanding of how people react in work environments. © Copyright 2009 Livonia Technical Services. Web design by Mahler and Associates. |
